MusicTek works with local authorities to host various educational and diversionary projects for young people, some current projects are listed below. More information will follow shortly on this page.
Havering Rock School
Every Saturday we offer nurtured rehearsal space
for young musicians from Havering, this includes:
- 4 fully equipped rehearsal rooms.
- 2 full time professional musicians on hand to offer advice on all aspects of being in a band.
- regular recordings in our recording studio.
- regular gigs in our Live Music Venue.
- self enterprising training to teach bands how to get on in the industry.
- regular seminars for all bands on related subjects.
- one to one tuition for drums bass guitar and vocals.

SUMMER UNI MUSIC COURSE 24th to 28th August
10am till 3pm at MusicTek
Age group - 11 to 19year olds

Have you ever wanted to or perhaps you are
already in a band or you want to sing or write lyrics? Would you like to
get a taste of what the music industry is about and see how bands and
singers come together right through to the recording studio? Whatever
your passion for music is we share it, which means this course will be
right for you! Working with music industry professionals, you can learn
the basic techniques of being in a band, how to perform, how to sing or
make the most of your instrument and how the recording studio works.
Previous projects have included
recording studio courses to teach young people how to become recording engineers and producers as well as hone their own performance skills.- video production courses teaching young people various aspects of filming and editing.
- performance workshops for bands singers and mc's.
- event management courses to teach young people how to organise various types of events.
